This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello... ...I'm a bit new here, but this should be fun!
I'm not on the computer that terrible often, so I'll try my best to not be a waste of space, but it may happen!
Well, I draw a lot, though I have been having some major issues with "artists' block", and that has been rather aggrevating. Anyone out there have any tips? I'd heard about this place, and had wanted to get an account, and thought this may be the best time to do so...maybe give me a bit of inspiration? One can hope!
I'm rather excited about my birthday coming up... ...should be fun! That may seem like a random piece of information, but it fills up space, so that's okay!
My solution is to look around my world, even if it's just something inside my house. Then I see something that may not seem like much but if it catches my eye, I'll just start drawing or painting. It's like a writer's rough draft.
The thing is to be fearless. Think about it as if you can't make a mistake. Don't think of it as anything much at the start. Don't edit as you go, as if you see the end in sight. Just get something started. For me, this usually makes me not be able to stop until the work is finished, whether it takes a few hours or days or months.
Most often this "something" will turn out as a very fine work.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Robert Tracy

"Artists' block" is similar to writer's block.
